SCT DQ shift
The minimal path through all documentation necessary for an SCT DQ shift
General information
The Official SCT DQ shift twiki
The ATLAS data quality portal
The ATLAS detector operations page
The real shift
step [1]: Check the ATLAs e-Log page for (SCT-specific) information on the run
Use search form on the ATLAS e-Log page
step [2]: Check the known defects in the database for this run:
Use the defect entry page
There is a finite number of defects defined for the SCT. An overview can be found on the SCT DQ shift twiki This is also the pages where you finally 'sign off' the run after you have verified all known defects and identified potential new ones in the Tier-0 histograms.
step [3]: Look at the Tier-0 histograms:
The histogram-summary of the run.
5. tier0 offline monitor from:
- hier gebeurt het echte werk...
- Check box uncheck SCT check it.......
- Sign off the run. Password SctDq
6. SCT DQ webtool: https://atlasdqm.cern.ch/atlaswebdq/
- ga naar SCT-standard
- vul in run number
7. ATLAS operations: https://atlasop.cern.ch/operation.php
8. in teh e-log make a new entry....
- Message Type = SCT
