- File:Mul Milling vs Turning.pdf is an old presentation by Frans Mul. The interesting conclusion is that 'turning' leads to a leaking foil, while 'milling' does not.

Activities/milestones reached
- 2016/11/22: Filling box 3 with wax
- 2016/10/01: Inside of box 3 (500 micron, full size) is finished
- 2016/03/31: Box 2 milling is finished
- 2015/10/29: Vacuum tests show the box is not vacuum tight: https://webapps.nikhef.nl/elog/VELO_Upgrade_RFBox/8
- 2015/10/01: Milling now completely finished!
- 2015/09/17: Milling of outside is finished, apart from side that has wakefield connectors
- 2015/09/03: Mold positioned inside box and space filled with wax

- 2015/06/11: Heating box (for heating foil/mold when filling with wax) finished and tested

- 2015/03/19: Mold finished
- 2014/12: Started milling of the mold
- 2014/10/20: Three drums with 0.1 micron holes sent to VDL (see ELOG)
- 2014/10/20: Received 1kg of Field's metal and 1kg of cerrolow 136 from Lowden Limited
- 2014/10/02: Machining of 5 drums ready (4 of 250 mu thickness, 1 of 150 mu thickness, all without leaks)
