Three types of samples:
- A: glue mechanics tests (see picture)
* number of samples: three (different types of glue) * assembly: titanium (1.8mm), adhesive, 0.2mm), silicon (0.5 mm) * size: 42mm x 14mm x 2.5mm * desired radiation load: 2x10^15 1-MeV-neutron equivalent / cm^2 * radiated surface: preferable entire surface (too large?)
- B: glue heat conductivity tests (see picture)
* number of samples: three (different types of glue) * assembly: aluminium (2mm), adhesive (10mm), aluminium (2mm) * size: 12mm x 14mm x 2mm * desired radiation load: 2x10^15 1-MeV-neutron equivalent / cm^2 * radiated surface: over the adhesive layer
- C: RF box coating tests (see picture)
* number of samples: three (different types of coating) * assembly: aluminium (1mm) on both sides covered with very thin layer of coating * size: minimally 1x1cm (size can b increased, if that makes it easier to handle samples) * desired radiation load: 1x10^16 1-MeV-neutron equivalent / cm^2 * radiated surface: ideally over entire surface, but probably a 'spot' profile is acceptable as well
