Three types of samples:
- A: glue mechanics tests (see picture)
* number of samples: three (different types of glue) * assembly: titanium (1mm), adhesive, 0.2mm), silicon (0.5 mm) * size: * desired radiation load: 2x10^15 1-MeV-neutron equivalent / cm^2 * radiated surface: preferable entire surface (too large?)
- B: glue heat conductivity tests (see picture)
* number of samples: three (different types of glue) * assembly: aluminium (2mm), adhesive (10mm), aluminium (2mm) * size: * desired radiation load: 2x10^15 1-MeV-neutron equivalent / cm^2 * radiated surface: over the adhesive layer
- C: RF box coating tests (see picture)
* number of samples: three (different types of coating) * assembly: aluminium (1mm) on both sides covered with very thin layer of coating * size: 2x2cm (size can easily be adjusted) * desired radiation load: 1x10^16 1-MeV-neutron equivalent / cm^2 * radiated surface: over the surface, although a 'spot' load is probably good enough
