Eduroam/NIKHEF on Android

Instructions Images
We have created a Android App for installation of Eduroam on Android devices. It is available in the google playstore.

You need to be connected to the internet to use the App. You can use 4G on your mobile phone or a temporary nikhef-guest account. You ony need to run the app once and it will create a wireless profile for you to login to eduroam.

ScreenshotEduroamAndroid1.jpg
Please use username (Nikhef username (without @nikhef)) and the corresponding password.

We strongly recommend using this app to connect to Eduroam on Android. If you manually configure eduroam on Android you are susceptible to a man in the middle atacks and hackers could steal you Nikhef credentials.
The app creates a personal certificate for you on your android device which can be used to safely logon to eduroam without using your username.

This app has not been tested on all versions of Android and it might not work on older devices.
